Glitch in Formula1.com

Strange that 77% = 15% on the graph...

They revamped the website recently... I liked the older version better... it had everything in a single screen... Now only 1/3 of the page appears in a browser window.. that too with the header taking up almost half of the screen...

u have to scroll down all the way to even see main information area of the page...

Hats off to Google Developers

I use Google spreadsheets a lot... n often exhaust the number of rows available[100 by default] very soon. There was no straightforward way to add a large number of rows in one shot. One could use the workaround given in their Help Center. But it provided no control over the number of rows added. Or you could add a row from the context menu on the margins, add one more, then select those two rows and add two more n so on...

Google added a new option, a + at the bottom left corner of the spreadsheet just above the Add Sheet button. Clicking on it pops up a dialog... enter the number of rows.. click OK and u r done... It has one quirk though.. it will add rows to the end of the spreadsheet only.

But don't worry... Google developers must have seen this coming... they added a new option to the context menu on the margin... select the number of rows u want to add just above the place where u want the rows to be added and select insert from the menu.

It's nice that Google pays attention to such minute details... Life is much easier now... :-)

Finally...

Sudoku... it's definitely addictive... I've been trying to crack the HARD Sudoku that comes in The Hindu for quite some time now... The EASY n MEDIUM levels pose no threat to me, but always get stuck half way through with the HARD level. Had just come back from a late night movie... Ocean's Thirteen... was in a "happy" mood... the movie and the drive back, were pleasant... maybe that acted as a catalyst... i took at it against the backdrop of a peaceful night.. finished it in about 45mins... can u believe it!!! i was ecstatic... wooooowww... felt like i had conquered the world... ;-)
